Don't just trust the result. See the evidence.
What VOTE360 is
VOTE360 doesn't run elections and it doesn't replace IEBC. It sits alongside the official result and shows you the paper trail behind it — where every number came from, and what happens when two sources disagree. We never announce a winner ourselves.
What's real in this build, and what's demo
- Real National 2022 presidential result — IEBC-certified, Supreme Court upheld.
- Real Mombasa County presidential result, and its six constituencies' registered-voter counts and 2022 MPs — sourced from IEBC and public records.
- Real Ward names within Mombasa's constituencies are real administrative boundaries.
- Demo Constituency-level vote splits are estimates — we spread the real county total across constituencies by registered voters. Not an official figure.
- Demo Polling-station names, results and forms in Mikindani and Tononoka wards are made up, just to show how the evidence-checking works once real data is loaded.
Every page in this app carries the same real/demo label next to the data it shows.
Our rules
- —We never declare a winner or publish an independent "national tally."
- —We never label anything "fraud" — only "requires verification," reviewed by humans.
- —Citizen reports are unverified by default until an accredited reviewer acts on them.
- —Nothing is overwritten — every correction is a new version, the history stays visible.
Where this is headed
Right now: Mombasa County as a full working example, with everything real clearly marked. Next: a real trial run during an actual by-election, with real observers submitting evidence live. After that: cover the whole country ahead of the next general election. Longer term: grow into Civic360 — tracking what your MP, MCA and Governor promised, and whether they actually delivered, between elections too.
